To keep my local mustang club (Shout out to the Golden Hills Mustang Club!) "on the road" with my husband and I as we participate in the 45th Mustangs Across America drive, I have decided to blog daily. I am sure they, as well as others, will enjoy our daily journey and if I can figure out how to post pix, you will see them!
We have not decided whether to start our 45th Mustangs Across America journey late on April 8th or early on April 9th. However, we DO need to be at the Aliante Casino in Las Vegas by check in on April 9th!
This journey will take us across the country to Birmingham, Alabama where my parents will meet us for the weekend long events jointly held by MAA and MCA. Our car number is 355 and we will be displaying her in all her glory at the MCA car show.We don't have a check list for packing or anything yet; but we do have plans to wash and polish our baby on Saturday and putting her bra on to keep her as pristine as possible for the display in Alabama! I will be checking the MAA site for the suggestions of what to bring ( I know CB radios are on that list) tomorrow and will start a check list.
We received our package from MAA with our car number placard, our dash plaque, a beautiful coin commemorating the event, and a European oval black and white sticker with MAA. We have our lanyards and we have purchased t-shirts and sweatshirts.
Can you feel the excitement start to build??
