We arrived safely at the Aliante Station. It is a luxurious and beautiful facility. I have pix of our room and some of the Mojave scenery. I have an unplanned day tomorrow and I PROMISE to download the pictures. Our only commitment is dinner and a tour of the Shelby Automobile campus starting at 4:00 pm.
We got to see a manufacturer's 2010 Shelby GT500, which will be the lead car in the drive. It is a gorgeous piece of American automobile.
We met up with a really nice couple from Lodi and a gentleman from Santa Rosa, so for the last 100 or so miles we traveled togetherl. That was a new experience for me and I was the lead car! "The Strip" is miles away from us and new construction and remodeling of existing casinos crowd the downtown area.
